Our Practice

We Empower The Patient

We believe in educating our patients on the diagnosis and the available treatments to ensure you can make an informed decision on the most effective solution for you.

We Are Flexible

As an independent medical practice, our doctors are given the freedom to treat each patient by what is best for you, not the network.

You Are Family

When you become a patient, you become part of our family. You will always be treated with kindness, understanding and compassion. We never forget we’re treating people, not just health conditions.

Philip K. Robb Sr., MD, FACS

A 1985 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine, Dr. Robb completed a surgical internship and ENT residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago in 1990.

He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, a Diplomate of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Association of Georgia, and the Greater Atlanta Otolaryngology Society. Dr. Robb is on staff at Northside Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta, and Children’s Health Care of Atlanta at Scottish Rite.

He has been the section chief of ENT at Northside Hospital for greater than 10 years.  He was also repeatedly voted one of Atlanta’s Top Doc and received again the 2011 Patients Choice Award.

Dr. Robb has been in solo practice in Atlanta and Alpharetta for more than 25 years.  He believes in caring for his patients as if they were family and takes a conservative approach to managing illnesses.  He also believes that prevention is preferred to treating the condition.  He enjoys getting to know his patients, be they 4 or 94.

Mathieu Forgues, MD

Dr. Forgues is a native of Montreal, Quebec and obtained both his undergraduate and his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, after which he completed a residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.  He then spent four years broadening his skills and experience as the county’s sole ENT surgeon in Northeast Arkansas.  He is a comprehensive ENT specialist and enjoys all aspects of medical and surgical treatment of the head and neck. He appreciates the opportunity to care for both the youngest patients and their families as well as the wisest. He believes the clues to an accurate diagnosis and the key to resolving a patient’s symptoms lie in the individual experience and point of view of the patient, and that empathy and communication are critical to each patient’s visit.

Board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery, Dr. Forgues uses the latest and least invasive surgical techniques to deliver superb care to his patients. He is experienced in sinus and nasal airway surgery, pediatric ENT procedures, the diagnosis and management of neck masses including thyroid and parotid tumors, surgical removal and reconstruction of skin cancers, as well as the treatment of voice, hearing, allergy, and other ENT disorders.

Dr. Forgues enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children, as well as hiking, reading, and traveling. He is excited to join Dr. Robb in providing exceptional care to the families of Alpharetta and surrounding communities.

Michael Goforth, AuD.

Michael Goforth, AuD. completed his doctoral work at the University of Colorado in 2010. His clinical competency is certified with American Speech Language Hearing Science (ASHA). He is a licensed professional supervisor (PS) for hearing conservation programs and a certified course director for the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) . His professional career began in the research and design arena where he helped design and deliver noise cancelling hearing protection to people working in close proximity to fighter jets. This experience gives him unparalleled experience with the science of sound. This, in turn, helps with programming hearing devices needed to help restore lost or damaged hearing.

Dr. Goforth specializes in tinnitus treatment. He began his own journey with tinnitus over 20 years ago due to loud noise exposures. Because of his own challenges, he has researched nearly every aspect of tinnitus and held an open mind when exploring and implementing tinnitus treatments.
He is a native Georgian and lives in Cumming, GA with his wife and 2 children. His faith guides him, his family grounds him, and his work flows from those foundational elements of his life. If you could benefit from Dr. Goforth’s expertise, please contact us to set an appointment.
